The 9/11 terrorist attacks were a horrific day in American history. We must never forget those lives that were tragically lost that day and the ongoing battle with cancer and other illnesses that came from it. We will continue to honor the brave men and women who went in to save others and unfortunately didn't make it back out.
While this event was very tragic, it also showed how strong and resilient Americans are. Most importantly those directly involved, but the unity we saw throughout the country after the events unfolded.
